Management Team

The principle owners and founding partners of Valsar Petroleum is Sarah Leepile and Valencia Leepile. Their combined experience brings high levels of customer service, legal expertise, commercial expertise, corporate governance and over 20 year experience within the petroleum distribution, logistics, supply, marketing, commercial and retail sales management to the business. Valsar Petroleum is a member of the Liquid Fuel Wholesalers Association, our active participation within the network has served beneficial in addressing critical issues faced by fuel wholesalers.

 

 

Ms. Sarah Goitsemang Leepile

Sarah entered the oil and gas industry through her employment at BP, she started out as a Regional Sales manager in the commercial Sector overseeing the indirect channel inland market. Her overall core responsibilities were relationship management with the Distributors and retail sector. She also has experience in supply and Logistics. Her responsibilities included discount negotiations, contract negotiations, demand forecasting that ensured product availability. 

Sarah holds a Higher Diploma in Business Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management Advance Programme with Wits, and Executive Leadership Certificate with GIBS.

 

 

 

 

 

Ms. Valencia Leepile

Valencia is an admitted Attorney and a Notary Public of the High Court of South Africa. She has extensive experience in the legal fraternity, having practiced in a commercial law firm for several years.

She specialised in mergers and acquisitions, competition law, tax law, drafting commercial agreements, insolvency law and company secretarial work. This experience serves her well in managing the day to day legalities of the business as well as ensuring the overall management of Valsar Petroleum.

As a young black female, her credentials (LLB, Notary Public and a Mining, Oil and Gas Law certificate attained through the University of Witwatersrand), have given her a broad overview of the natural resources sector. Her experience as a company secretary enable her to ensure sound corporate governance within the business.
